How long does a battery last?

The battery time depends on the size/capacity of the battery, and what type of media you display. Small, dark images requires less power than larger, brighter animations for example. However, with a "standard" power bank, and "normal" use, the battery will typically last for days.

What can I do in the app?

In the app, you can: Connect to and manage your device. Turn on/off the Screen and adjust screen brightness. Access the free content library. Upload and manage content. Program, change and loop content. Write and customize text.

Does my phone have to be connected for the screen to display content?

Your phone only have to be connected in order to upload/choose and program content. Your child then simply connects the power bank (not included) to bring their Buddy to life!

How do I clean my Ledback Buddy?

Your Ledback Buddy is water-resistant - the hardshell cover is of course waterproof - but that doesn't mean you can wash it in the washing machine. Use a damp or wet cloth to clean your Ledback Buddy. DO NOT use any chemicals, abrasive cleaners or bleach. DO NOT machine wash or tumble dry. DO NOT submerge the LED screen or other electronics in water.

What if I have trouble connecting to my Ledback Buddy?

  • Ensure that the power bank is charged and connected.
  • Ensure that Bluetooth is on and make sure to "Allow precise location" during setup.
  • If you are still unable to connect, reinstall the app and make sure to "Allow precise location" during the setup.
